Marinas are encouraged to practice sensible conservation practices.

The Clean Boating Celebration will include presentations from local , state and national leaders, both from the public sector as well as the marine industry. A wide variety of public activities will be provided, including clean boating related exhibits, sample products, clean boating, tips and literature, as clean boating demonstrations.

On June 21st, volunteers call "Dockwalkers" will distribute the MCBC publication "A Guide to a Cleaner Boating Environment" to all marinas in Boston Harbor as well as others interested.
