Courses
The
Education Committee has just completed a most successful series
of courses at Mass. Maritime Academy. 26 Firms were represented
with 70 employees taking 12 courses. In fact, this represented
153 employee-lessons as many took more than one course.
Another series of marine courses were completed in December
at Massasoit Community College in Canton. 28 students enrolled
in the 10 basic marine courses offered. Most of them are looking
to pursue careers in the recreational marine trades and are
either pres- ently or have been employed in other trades.
